just over 4 years ago Alison Cook came to the shop in Eado and ate some BBQ, she came back for the Meat Loaf. Jim and I were one of the first to have it on the menu on a regular basis. Seems during this time we could all use some comfort food. Offering full meat loafs and 2 sides tomorrow for $34.95. Must call in your order in advance to Cypress Trail Hideout, home of Pappa Charlies Barbeque by 6PM today. Pick up tomorrow after 2 PM.

American restaurants are known for their delicious and hearty meals, and Pappa Charlies Barbeque on Hempstead Road in Houston is no exception. This barbecue restaurant was started by a former competition cooking team who turned their hobby into a job, and they have been serving up some of the best BBQ in town ever since.
One of the standout dishes at Pappa Charlies Barbeque is their Meat Loaf, which has received rave reviews from customers and food critics alike. In fact, Alison Cook visited the shop in Eado just over four years ago and came back specifically for the Meat Loaf. It's so popular that it's now a regular item on the menu, available every Friday.
But it's not just the Meat Loaf that makes Pappa Charlies Barbeque special. They also offer creative barbecue dishes that have earned them a spot on Houston Food Finder's list of 9 Best Restaurants for Creative Barbecue in Houston. And if you're looking for something different than the usual brisket or ribs, try their turkey - according to Houston Chronicle, it's the Swiss Army knife of barbecue.
