Thereโs always something interesting happening at the Cloister.
Next time you stop in for lunch, take a little time to look around. Currently on display is the Christ Church Cathedral Community Quilt, a beautiful piece created by 150 members of the Cathedral community and entirely assembled and quilted by hand. The finished quilt will be auctioned this fall in support of The Beacon.
Youโll also find a new art exhibition lining the halls, featuring colorful works created not on canvas, but with nails and thread. Yes, thread! The intricate technique is even more impressive up close.
Good food, beautiful art, and a little something new to discover. Just another reason to spend your lunch hour at the Cloister.

To get to the American restaurant located in downtown Houston, you can take the METRORail Red Line and exit at Main Street Square Station. From there, walk south on Main Street for two blocks, then turn left on Texas Avenue. The restaurant is located on the corner of Texas Avenue and Market Square.
If driving, take I-45 South and exit at McKinney Street. Turn right on McKinney Street and continue until you reach Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and then left again onto Texas Avenue. There are several parking options nearby such as street parking or paid parking garages in the area.
