Meet Ron, one of Siphon’s favorite regulars. Ron looks out for unhoused people in our neighborhood, especially those with pets. He spent 35 years at sea and has countless fascinating stories.

Meet Alexander, one of the friendly faces behind the bar most afternoons.
A fellow yogi I first met at True North Yoga, Alexander brings that same focus and intention to every drink he makes. He’s constantly dialing in the espresso and putting our new grinder, auto-tamper and newly revived La Marzocco to very good use.
He’s also musically inclined, and from time to time you can catch him performing right here at Siphon.
And yes, he’s sporting our green Siphon hat exceptionally well. This hat and another style are available for sale at the shop.

A little behind-the-scenes work at Siphon tonight—setting up our new Fiorenzato F83E grinder and automatic tamper, dialing in the sensors, and bringing our La Marzocco Strada back to its former glory. These upgrades will give us more consistent espresso, a smoother workflow, and help our team serve you better and faster. Better tools, better flow, better coffee. ☕️

If you're using public transport, take the bus to the intersection of West Alabama Street and Mandell Street. From there, walk north along Mandell Street until you reach a small shopping plaza on your right.
If you're driving, head to West Alabama Street and look for Mandell St. Turn into Mandell St and continue for a few hundred meters until you see a small shopping plaza on your left. There is free parking available in the lot next to the shops.
Once you arrive at the shopping plaza, look for a cafe near the south side of the building that has large windows and an industrial interior design.
