Processing method: Natural Cold Fermentation
Flavor notes: mulberry, red plum, star fruit
03 — Catuai Natural Lot 137

PANAMA VARIETAL SERIES
01 — Kotowa Duncan Casiopea
Casiopea is a new varietal developed by Kotowa from Ethiopian landrace selections and cultivated at their Duncan farm. During our visit this March, this lot immediately stood out on the cupping table while tasting with Victoria at Kotowa.
Deeply aromatic and expressive, we tasted elegant notes of rose, blackberry, and Earl Grey.
Our Panama Varietal Series explores the diversity of Panama beyond Geisha. We’re excited to begin the series with this beautiful coffee.

Panama is known for Geisha.
But there is more to discover.
This season, we’re introducing Panama, Beyond Geisha — a varietal series dedicated to exploring the diversity of varietals across Panama. Sourced from different farms and released one by one, each coffee reflects a distinct expression of terroir, processing, and craft.
The series begins soon.

On the cupping table, this lot immediately stood out with pronounced peach notes, layered with muscat grape and delicate white florals. Grown at 1835–1900 MASL, Torre Centro’s high elevation contributes to both remarkable complexity and vibrant expression in the cup.

New release — Janson Natural Lot 197.
We visited Janson Coffee in Panama just last month, cupping through their harvest and searching for something that felt alive in the cup. This lot stood out immediately—vivid, expressive, and unmistakably a Natural Geisha with a voice of its own.
In the cup, it opens with bright pineapple and blood orange, then softens into ripe strawberry, all carried by a juicy, flowing sweetness. It’s the kind of coffee that feels both playful and precise.
Now available.

New release — Elida Washed DRD Vuelta.
Last year’s Washed DRD Vuelta lots from Elida sold out almost instantly, and we knew we had to bring it back for the new harvest. Huge thanks to for reserving this fan-favorite lot for us.
This cup is everything we love about a refined Panamanian Washed Geisha—intense florals up front, layered with sweet fruit notes like peach and lychee, and lifted by elegant, complex citrus. The acidity is vibrant, balanced by a rounded sweetness.

The cup opens with an intense white floral aroma, delicate yet expressive, followed by the sweetness of rambutan and layers of juicy peach. An elegant and captivating expression from Alto Jaramillo, and a memorable highlight from our time at origin.

New coffee release — Marlon Bolaños, Huila, Colombia.
This Honey processed Pink Bourbon offers a vibrant and expressive cup with notes of strawberry, navel orange, and maple syrup. Bright acidity, layered sweetness, and an intense yet balanced flavor. A coffee we could happily sip on all day. Come try it on pour over or grab a bag to enjoy at home. 🍊
More about the Farm
This coffee is named after producer Marlon Bolaños. Marlon grew up knowing coffee as his family’s livelihood, but it wasn’t until a barismo course at 17 that he began to see its deeper potential. What started as curiosity became commitment: planting differentiated varieties, refining fermentation through trial and error, and building Three Coffee Farmers alongside his two brothers.
