“A drink to wake me up and f*&k me up.” ☕️
Cue the Espresso Martini. Created in London by Dick Bradsell in 1984 while the David Bowie film Absolute Beginners was being shot in the area and everyone was flocking to Soho to try and catch a glimpse.
Bradsell’s bar had just installed a new illy coffee machine and the team was getting used to their new cutting-edge tech when a young (unnamed) model walked in and asked for a drink to ‘Wake her up and f**k her up’. With a coffee covered bar and vodka being the spirit of choice at the time, these were Bradsell’s natural first choices.
This early iteration of the drink was poured on the rocks and the Vodka Espresso was created. Tweaks to the recipe were made throughout the years and eventually the final touch was a nod to Italian drinking traditions by adding 3 coffee beans as a garnish for ‘health, wealth, and happiness’
Celebrate the beloved cocktail with us today for Espresso Martini Day.

Meet the Improved Amaretto Sour 🍒

Served over a large piece of ice from our rendition goes down sweet, smooth, and a little spicy.

L’apéro at Bar no. 3 🥃
“L’apéro” (also spelled Apéro) is a French term referring to an informal social gathering before dinner, typically involving drinks and light snacks.
It’s a cherished tradition in France, often thought of as a time for relaxation and socializing. The word itself comes from the Latin “aperire,” meaning “to
open,” suggesting it’s about opening the palate for a meal.
Join us every Monday - Wednesday from 4:00-7:00pm.
