West Alabama Ice House is a must-visit beer garden in Houston. The establishment offers a unique experience to its customers with its fancy new Point of Sale system that accepts all major credit cards, making it easy for patrons to open tabs and enjoy their drinks without any hassle. Although the ice house does not sell food, they have a rotating selection of food trucks on their property, and Tacos Tierra Caliente food truck is permanently parked right across the street. Customers are also allowed to bring in their own food to dine at the picnic tables.

The Ice House is known for hosting great crawfish boilers on weekends when they're in season and usually have two or three crawfish boils a year. They post information about it on their page, so customers can keep checking back! Additionally, anyone under the age of 21 is welcome at the Ice House during limited hours before dark if accompanied by an adult.
