We have some bad news and some Myti news.
Bad news: No Myti ice trailer this summer. We might park it out front just for the cool paint job, but it will be empty.
Myti News: Starting Tuesday the 2nd, Myti Ice will be INSIDE Myti Burger! So you can order your shaved inside in our air conditioned dining room or in our Drive Thru.

Happy Mother’s Day to our team members Linda, Maribel, Guadalupe and Jill.
Also happy Mother’s Day to all the NW Houston moms. We see you in our drive thru with a car full of kids or trying to call in your order with chaos in the background. In our dinning room trying to order for everyone and making sure they all have what they need before you get to eat. Running to practices, lessons, recitals, tutorials, church, school, play dates, awards ceremonies, volunteer hours, birthday parties, holiday parties, etc, etc. We see you working and you’re all amazing.
Thank you for letting us be part of your plan to hold it all together.
We’re pround to be the unofficial sponsor of Myti Moms for the last 59 years!

We had a lot of history together. Sad to see this.
After 70+ years of telling the stories that make our neighborhoods feel like home, this is the one we never quite imagined writing.

It’s such a sad day here Joe Arguijo III passed away unexpectedly at home yesterday. Joe’s wife Linda has been at Mytiburger over 30 years and Joe has also helped most of that time. When not working he was usually in the dining room patiently waiting for his Linda. We used to call him our security. While he was waiting he was usually talking to the guests and getting to know everyone. Many of you became his friend and came in just to get a meal and enjoy his company.
Joe was also known to many of us as “Coach Joe”. For decades he manned the dugouts and practice fields of The Oaks Dads Club. He was an extremely competitive coach, but as much as he was competitive, he was even more known for his relationship with his young players. He loved all his players and kept up with many of them throughout the years. The love was returned by the players and families who were on his teams along the way. They often came in to Mytiburger as grown men just to see him and he would always light up with excitement to see them.
The only people he loved more than his players were his closest friends and family at RIKI, Myti and ODC and all around our Neighborhood and back in his home of Pettus TX. We all miss him so much right now. Please keep Linda and their family in your prayers.
We love you Coach Joe!

Restaurant owners/managers. There is a DoorDash/ Uber Eats scam. They will call from the “complaints department” and ask to “confirm your email address”. If you give it to them they will use it to have the website send a confirmation email. Then they will ask you for the confirmation code in the email. Once they are in, we assume they will lock you out and attempt to change your payment information. We saw a video on the same scam for drivers and recognized it right away. Now they are targeting restaurants.
Share with any restaurant operators and drivers you know.

Tucked inside a popular Montrose bar’s kitchen, a recurring pop-up has built a following for its crave-worthy menu.
Alongside classic burgers and fries, its Houston Dog takes the spotlight: an all-beef frank topped with caramelized and crispy fried onions, sriracha, ketchup, and spicy mayo on a buttered challah bun. 🌭📍Link in comments.

What people say
American restaurants are known for their delicious burgers and Mytiburger on W 43rd Street in Houston is no exception. Since 1967, they have been serving up hot, tasty Texas-style burgers that are sure to satisfy any burger lover's cravings.
Their signature Mytiburger is made with a fresh, never frozen 1/4 lb beef patty and topped with fresh chopped lettuce, sliced tomatoes, dill pickles, chopped onions, and French's mustard. And if you're feeling extra hungry, you can add another patty to make it a 1/2 lb.
But the customization options don't stop there. You can choose from a variety of toppings including American cheese, cheddar, Swiss, grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapeños, bacon, avocado, fried egg, BBQ sauce, steak sauce or chili. And for those who prefer something other than beef, Mytiburger offers veggie and turkey patties as well as farm-raised bison.
What sets Mytiburger apart from other fast food restaurants is their commitment to their community. They take the time to recognize important holidays like Mother's Day and Memorial Day on their social media pages and even give shoutouts to their hardworking team members.
Overall, if you're looking for a delicious burger in Houston with plenty of customization options and a community-focused atmosphere then look no further than Mytiburger on W 43rd Street.
