MONDAY 8/31: Marinated & grilled pork chops with Creole mustard cream sauce, dirty rice made with ground beef and sausage and collard greens with ham hocks.

TUESDAY 9/1: How can it be September already? Marry me chicken- Pan seared chicken breasts in cream sauce packed with garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil over penne pasta with green beans.

WEDNESDAY 9/2: Chicken pot pie empanadas - traditional chicken pot pie filling stuffed in empanada shells. Served with Greek salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, bell peppers, capers, Feta cheese and Kalamata olives with scratch made Greek dressing.

THURSDAY 9/3: Saw this on a menu last week and it sounded so good I have to make it. Pistachio & Panko crusted chicken with lemon-caper sauce with oven dried tomatoes. Served with seasoned rice and broccoli.

FRIDAY 9/4: This was my mom's best recipe. Parmesan crusted chicken pieces topped with scratch made marinara & mozzarella cheese over angel hair pasta. Served with fresh baked garlic knots.

Dinners are served 5-6:00 pm hot, packaged to go and ready to eat. at The Cove on Hamblen (1101 Hamblen Road in Forest Cove). Come early to enjoy a cold craft beer or glass of wine. Dinners can be ordered in advance for the week or ordered the day you would like dinner if placed by 10:00 am.

MONDAY 8/24: Classic comfort food! American goulash with savory ground beef, zesty tomato sauce and macaroni noodles. Served with Sunflower Crunch Salad: kale & red and green cabbage combined with carrots, bacon, dried cranberries and sunflower seeds with a tangy apple cider dressing.

TUESDAY 8/25: Country fried thick cut pork chops with bacon gravy over buttermilk mashed potatoes and green beans.

WEDNESDAY 8/26: This is one of my favorite meals and I always get compliments on it. Panko & parmesan crusted chicken cutlets served with Parmesan, cherry tomato & arugula salad. Served with Penne Alfredo.

THURSDAY 8/27: I will not be cooking dinners tonight so I can cater a private event for Kingwood Skin Essential's Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting.

FRIDAY 8/28: Classic red beans and rice with Andouille sausage served with sweet skillet cornbread.

To get to the location on Hamblen Road in Houston, there are several options for transportation. If using public transport, take the bus or train to the nearest station and then transfer to a local bus that stops near Hamblen Road. The nearest bus stop is on the corner of Hamblen and Richmond Avenue.

If driving, take I-10 East until you reach the exit for Dairy Ashford Road. Turn left onto Dairy Ashford Road and then right onto Westheimer Road. Continue on Westheimer until you reach Hamblen Road on your right. You can park in the parking lot on the corner of Hamblen and Westheimer.

Another option is to take Highway 59 South until you reach the exit for Hillcroft Avenue. Turn right onto Hillcroft Avenue and continue until you reach Westheimer Road. Turn left onto Westheimer Road and continue until you reach Hamblen Road on your left. Parking is available in the lot on the corner of Hamblen and Westheimer.
