Call it a Renaissance, call it a long time coming, call it what you want, but we just got voted into the Houston Chronicle’s top 100 restaurants in the city. We’ve made memories for 50 years in this great business by feeding people with no frills, nothing fancy, or over the top - just good food from good people to the great people of Houston. Thank you so much for recognizing us after all of these years!

Fifty years ago, on October 1st, I opened Mandola’s Deli a place where people could gather to enjoy great Italian food, warm service, and lasting memories.
As I reflect on the past five decades, I want to thank all of our employees, past and present. Because of you, we’ve been able to serve not just meals, but countless stories.
To our loyal customers, thank you for your support, your trust, and for choosing us to be part of your everyday meals and your most special celebrations. It has been an honor to serve the many generations of families while doing what I love.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue sharing this dream with my son Joseph and carry on the Mandola traditions for years to come.
Here’s to the past, the present, and the future of Mandola’s Deli!
