Xochi, located on Walker Street in Houston, is a restaurant that truly lives up to its name, which means "to bloom or catch fire." With award-winning Chef Hugo at the helm, Xochi offers an exceptional dining experience that is sure to delight your taste buds.
One of the standout dishes on their lunch menu is the Tostadas de Camaron. This dish features sautéed shrimp with chile de ajo, refried beans and crunchy garnishes on crispy, housemade tortillas. It pairs perfectly with an ice-cold cerveza.
If you're a fan of lobster tacos, then you must try Xochi's Taco de Langosta. This dish features a succulent lobster tail with adobo Oaxaqueño, refritos, onions, avocado mousse and housemade corn tortilla. They even claim it's better than the one at their sister restaurant Hugo's!
On Saturdays, Xochi serves an a la carte brunch menu that includes delicious dishes like Bistec con Huevos - a 6-oz grilled prime Angus ribeye with huevos divorciados. It's steak & eggs done Xochi-style!
For tequila lovers out there, Xochi is hosting a Casa Del Sol Tequila dinner on June 8th. Tickets are available now but will sell out quickly.
Overall, Xochi is a must-visit restaurant in Houston for anyone who loves bold flavors and exceptional cuisine.
