T-Bone Toms is a must-visit steakhouse and barbecue restaurant located on Highway 146 in Kemah. Since 1974, this restaurant has been serving locals and tourists with their delicious hand-cut steaks, hand-battered chicken fried steak, hand-battered seafood, and slow-smoked barbecue. It's no wonder that T-Bone Toms has been featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives!
One of the unique features of T-Bone Toms is their backyard area where live music is played six nights a week. This creates an amazing atmosphere for diners to enjoy their meals while listening to some great tunes.
Their French dip sandwich is a must-try item available only on Tuesdays, but only medium-rare or below. And if you're a fan of prime rib, make sure to visit them on Tuesdays starting at 5 pm.
The restaurant also pays tribute to its founder Tom Fitzmorris (aka Tbonetom) who passed away in 1997. The current owner feels a kinship with him as he has owned the restaurant for 25 years now since February 1st.
