Well, the day is here…. It’s been a while since I’ve done a pop up… these past couple years have been a learning experience. I’ve met new friends that became family like .cheat.meal .salii Josh and everyone I worked with at Night Shift. I had the privilege to work along so many talented people like the staff at and picked up a few new skills along the way. The greatest part of it all… is I have my beautiful little family. The blessing of my son Danny who btw just woke up as I type this and gave me the beautiful smile he gives me every morning that makes my day… anyways, I just wanted to say…. This isn’t a comeback, this isn’t a goodbye… this is a…. I MISSED YOU ALL AND I CANT WAIT TO COOK FOR YOU ALL TODAY. See you all at 5pm, thank you Sarah from for always being so welcoming and supportive. To my brother in law Jorge, I wish you were here.

“ Well, they say that all good things must come to an end. Daniel Leal, who most of you know as Chef Danny from A Comer, is moving on to a new opportunity and we couldn’t be more excited for him. Sadly, that means that he will no longer be posted up on Friday and Saturday and that you will no longer be able to get A Comer’s delicious tacos every week at Johnny’s. We are working on a new Friday/Saturday food plan, but this week we will celebrate his time at Johnny’s with DANNY’S LAST SHIFT. Come out this Friday for bad ass tacos, zombies, and reggaeton! He will be serving a menu of greatest hits, we will have drink specials, and there will be a special SUPER LIMITED JGB X A Comer merch drop. We love you and we can’t wait to see what’s next!”

I want to Thank Benjy, The Johnny’s Family and all the friends we made who became family to us. It’s been a great pleasure to serve you all these past years. I love and Thank everyone who supported us, helped us grow and made us part of your weekly dine out spot. I can’t thank you all enough.... but I also can’t wait to share with you all what’s next for me. As for A Comer this is a see you all later down the road. So for this last night at Johnny’s... let’s make that s**t count!!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 perreo, tacos y zombies pa mi gente!!!!

Happy Mother’s Day weekend to all the hard working moms who make sacrifices daily for us to be able to have food, clothes and a roof over our heads. Thank you mom for all the sacrifices you still make for me, my siblings, nieces and nephews. Check out tonight’s menu, for our vegetarian and vegan option tonight we are doing the Gas Station Burrito we did with Night Shift a few weeks back when they did their take over Johnny’s pop up. Many have requested me to do it again so I did. I hope to see you all there tonight.
