Thank you so much to all of you for such a warm welcome to our new menu, and we would love to show case another Happy Hour Classic cocktail call
Hotel Nacional🍸🍸🍹🍹🍹

Here is cool story about this drink that we found in our library:

This cocktail was invented by Wil P. Taylor or Eddie Woelke, who worked for the Hotel Nacional and Casino Nacional, just down the street from
El Floradita respectively (the bars were owned by the same person). The recipe was first published in Charles H. Baker Jr.’s “Gentleman’s Companion” in 1939, it was attributed to Taylor. Regardless of who created it, the Hotel Nacional became the signature drink of the hotel, and a veritable classic.

We know that weather been rough lately, but our all New Happy Hour helps us get by it with better energy. Here is another great hit from that menu:

Gin Basil Smash is modern classic from Germany including Gin, Fresh Basil, Sugar, Citrus.

Created in the summer of 2008 by Jörg Meyer and inspired by Dale DeGroff's Whiskey Smash, Meyer developed the cocktail, originally named Gin Pesto. Jörg blogged about his new creation on the 10th of July 2008 and from that point, it started to quickly grow in popularity to become internationally known, also becoming better known as the Gin Basil Smash.

Our new Happy Hour menu is🔥, and we would like to tell you about some of the new Cocktails on Happy Hour.
Introducing the ARMY & NAVY. Great classic cocktail with , House Made Orgeat, Citrus, and Bitters.

Here is some history about its origins that we hope you enjoy:

Army & Navy was first recorded in David Embury’s 1948 book The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks.
It was invented to honor the centuries-old football game between the United States military and
naval academies.
Like many classics, however, the cocktail has also been tied to the The Army and Navy Club in Washington, D.C., a members-only officers’ club
where the Daiquiri was first served in the U.S. The club has no details on the Army & Navy’s origins but likely helped popularize the drink, which remains on its cocktail menu today.
