People always love the finished photos, but nobody talks about the mild chaos, questionable decision, and overall s**t show that happens somewhere in the middle. Restoring a historic building is not for the weak 😂😜🌴
Here’s a little before-and-after of Sugar & Rye’s palm wallpaper installation and the finished restaurant. Somehow, despite the ladders, dust, stress, and countless “trust me, it’ll look good” conversations, it all came together exactly how we imagined.
Design projects are basically just a series of small emergencies until one day you’re taking pretty pictures and pretending it was easy.
