The Alley (Houston) – brief directions

Public transport options
1) MetroRail + walk: Take METRORail to the Downtown Transit Center area, then walk or use a short ride-share/taxi for the final block(s).
2) Bus: Use METRO bus routes that stop near downtown/Discovery Green and transfer as needed; from the nearest downtown stop, it’s typically a short walk.
3) Rideshare/taxi: Drop off at a nearby downtown intersection (around Avenida Houston / Main St / Dallas St area), then walk to the entrance.

Driving + parking options
1) From I-45/I-10: Follow signs into Downtown Houston toward Main St or Dallas St. Use nearby streets around Avenida Houston/Main St for closest access.
2) Parking garages: Park in one of the downtown garages around Main St, Texas Ave, or Capitol St (many are within a 5–15 minute walk).
3) Street parking: Limited metered street parking may be available nearby—check posted hours and rates carefully.

On-site tip
- The area is pedestrian-friendly; once you’re in downtown, walking is usually the fastest way to reach entrances.
