Co-owned by Li and Patrick, both University of Houston alumni, the café embodies a commitment to quality and healthy beverage options. Li, who transitioned from a six-year consulting career at Deloitte to manage the café full-time, and Patrick, who balances his work in the oil and gas industry with part-time café management, aimed to fill a gap for high-quality beverages upon opening Teapresso Bar in May 2018. The establishment proudly serves freshly brewed organic coffee and boba tea, along with a diverse menu that includes customizable tea options, lemonades, frappes, slushes, and smoothies. All ingredients are non-powdered, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly. Teapresso Bar HTX represents the first location outside of Hawaii for this popular brand, which has expanded to over ten locations across the islands since its founding in Honolulu in 2014.
