🕊️ In Loving Memory of Faustino Perez (1959–2025)
A Founding Heart of El Ranchero – Meyerland
With deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude, we share the passing of Faustino Perez on May 5, 2025 — one of the original founders of El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant, and a man whose presence left a lasting legacy within our restaurant family and beyond.
Faustino played a key role in helping open both the Kingwood and Meyerland locations of El Ranchero, standing side by side with his brother Martin and his nephew Oscar to bring their shared vision to life. What began as a dream rooted in family and tradition has become a home for countless guests — and Faustino's heart helped build every corner of it.
Although he didn’t work daily at our Meyerland location, his impact was deeply felt. Every member of our team admired and appreciated him — not only for his guidance and dedication, but for the love, encouragement, and support he always offered with sincerity and strength.
He was more than a co-owner. He was a mentor, a father figure, a brother, a grandfather, a cousin, and a friend. A man who led by example — with humility, compassion, and unwavering kindness.
If you ever had the chance to meet him, you’ll remember his strong handshake, his warm smile, and the way he made you feel seen and valued. Whether you were family or staff, a lifelong guest or a first-time visitor — Faustino made you feel at home.
A devout Catholic, he lived by faith and with quiet strength. His presence shaped the values we continue to uphold at El Ranchero — hard work, humility, generosity, and above all, family.
Please keep the Perez family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

🕊️ Rest in peace, Faustino.
You didn’t just help build a restaurant — you helped build a legacy of love, tradition, and family that will live on forever.
