Happy Tamale Season!! Here are a few holiday FAQs to help make your visit smooth and stress-free:
Q. Are you taking call-ahead orders?
A. During the holiday rush, we serve guests on a first-come, first-served basis so everyone gets the same fresh experience.
Q. Where are you located?
A. You can find us at:
• 809 Berry Road
• 2520 Airline Drive, C-315, Houston, Texas (inside the historic Houston Farmers Market)
Q. Can I place a DoorDash, Uber Eats, or online order for tamales?
A. Online ordering and third-party delivery will resume on the 26th.
Q. Will you have your full menu during Christmas week?
A. To keep things moving quickly, we’ll offer a limited menu on the 23rd and 24th featuring tamales, empanadas, barbacoa, tortillas, salsa, queso, guacamole, and chips.
Q. When does the full menu return?
A. The full menu will be back on Christmas Day at our Berry Road location. Our Heights location will be closed on the 25th.
Q. What should I expect for wait times?
A. Peak hours are typically between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and waits during that time can reach up to two hours.
Q. Do you ever run out of tamales?
A. We prep all year long to make sure there’s plenty for everyone. While you may experience a short wait, we work hard to keep tamales coming all day.
Q. It’s my first time, what should I expect?
A. Expect the best vibes and enjoy over 8 varieties of our infamous HANDMADE TAMALES 🩷❤️😋 (yes, we have machine made at the Berry location, but handmade is where it’s at)
Q. How is parking?
A. Both locations have plenty of parking available but can get busy during peak times. You may have to wait a minute or two for a space but the line continues to move and a space will become available.

2. We have TWO locations now serving the same amazing menu!

✨2520 Airline Drive, C315 (Houston Farmers Market Lawn). Take Airline Drive to Service Street to find parking.
2. We will be OPEN at BOTH locations for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve during normal business hours. ONLY our Berry location will be open on Christmas Day (12/25).
3. There will be a limited menu on 12/23 & 12/24 containing tamales, barbacoa, empanadas, salsa, pico, and guacamole. The regular menu will resume before and after these dates.
