October 7 is Jim Goode Day. And while Jim’s story started with a pit, his legacy stretches all the way to the Gulf.
For 40 years, Goode Co. Seafood has been shaped by the people and relationships behind it. From Jim Goode and the late Jimmy Evans to Jim Gossen, Kurt Evans and Levi Goode, generations of fishermen, suppliers and cooks have carried forward a shared commitment to quality, craftsmanship and doing things the right way.
What started as partnerships became friendships, and eventually, family. Those relationships can still be found in every oyster shucked, every redfish prepared and every campechana served today.
Here’s to Jim, Jimmy and 40 years on the Gulf.
