A huge shout out to Henry Stewart at the Family Destination Guide for writing this. It really is amazing that people go out of their way to take the time to write about our small family run restaurant.

It is a testament to all of our fantastic staff. From the amazing kitchen team all the way to the front of house. What they do is amazing and we truly appreciate them all.

Just in case you didn't know or forgot- we are closed on Mondays. (But that will change during the world cup. If there are games on, we will be open. Keep checking social media for details)

We don't want you to plan a trip only to find out we are closed when you get here. We know how frustrating that can be.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL THIS SATURDAY

Kick off is 11am and we will see the two best teams in Europe go up against each other for the final. PSG will take on Arsenal in Budapest.

It should be a great game.

Our World Cup passports are at the printers and should be ready soon!

Everyday you visit during the competition, you will receive a stamp. There are 12 stamps in total. If you get all 12, you will qualify for a limited run of Gold Passports. These will allow you to book a seat for the remaining games.

There will also be food and drink giveaways for collecting a certain amount of stamps.

We are going to make this a memorable World Cup and we hope you will join us in supporting your team. Whoever that is!

We hope everyone enjoyed their day off yesterday for Memorial Day and took some time in between the cooking and having fun to remember those who have fallen and given the ultimate sacrifice for this wonderful country. Andrina and Craig both come from military families and took some time yesterday to remember those brave people.

We are back open again today and it looks like the weather is going to behave (for today anyway!). We will be serving what many are calling "the best Fish and Chips in Texas" all day along with our other made from scratch British dishes.

Come down to Kemah and see us. We will greet you with a smile and make you feel at home.

The World Cup is less than 3 weeks away everyone!

We are making plans to make it a memorable 6 weeks. Our resident piper, Ian Martin will be getting the Tartan Army in full song for the Scotland games.

We will also have a World Cup passport that we will stamp every day you come in to watch a game. If get enough stamps you will get a free drink. If you get 12 stamps, you might get access to a Golden Passport that will allow you to reserve seats for important games.

We should also have lots of giveaways and drink promotions. And you can get your picture taken with our very own “cup”!!

And the owner Craig is already telling everyone that if Scotland qualify top of the table, he will buy everyone in a Scotland jersey a free drink!!!!

The rain has moved out and it’s a sunny day here in Kemah with no rain in the forecast.

We will have a selection of the final day games of the EPL which kick off at 10am.

Breakfast is served between 9am and 12pm and lunch/dinner service starts at 11am.

So, if you’ve been stuck inside for the last few days, come down to Kemah and enjoy a beautiful day out!

This Thursday (May 21st) at 7:30pm, The FAB 5 are hitting the Kemah Boardwalk as part of the Rock the Dock series — bringing a full-on Magical Mystery Tour of Beatles and 60s hits 🎶

🇬🇧Expect all the classics, plenty of “yeah yeah yeah,” and at least one person in the crowd who suddenly believes they are the fifth Beatle. A splendid time is guaranteed for all 😉

Eat before the show so you don’t try to sing “Hey Jude” on an empty stomach (dangerous).

⚽Next month sees the start of the BIGGEST football competition in the World! It is only 28 DAYS AWAY and we are so excited!🏆

And just in case you were wondering who Craig and Andrina were supporting...🤣

Fish and Chips Houston is starting to make plans and hopefully become the "un-official" Galveston Bay Area fan zone for the competition. We will be showing all of the games that are aired during our opening times and we WILL be opening on the Monday's when games are scheduled. We will also open late for those games that started during our normal operating hours but finish after we usually close.

We also have plans to have the patio screened in (depending on contractor timeline) and a temporary AC system unit to try and keep things a little cooler outside. We are also planning on an outside bar to try and keep everyone happy! We are working with our distributors to get some merchandise and we should have plenty of specials on during the competition.

Whoever you are supporting, we welcome you to come and be part of the action and atmosphere at Fish and Chips Houston this summer. The first game is on Thursday June 11th and 2pm featuring 🇲🇽Mexico vs 🇿🇦South Africa.

We highly encourage the wearing of your favorite teams jersey and face paint!
