Proud of that chicken walk and another strong overall finish. We learned a few things, made progress, and we’re already getting ready for the next one.

Three meats turned in and three walks earned. We’re proud of the consistency, but we’re not satisfied—the goal is always to keep improving and move closer to that top spot.

One weekend at a time and the rubs just show up every wekeend they are put to the test. Its almost a cheat code to place at a cookoff when your using the rubs. Great job team, keep cashing checks and chasing trophies.

To get to the location, take the train or bus to the Downtown Transit Center. From there, walk south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with McKinney Street. Take a left on McKinney and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the restaurant.
If driving, take I-10 East and exit at San Jacinto St. Turn left onto Rusk St and then turn right onto Fannin St. The restaurant will be on your right-hand side at the corner of Fannin St and McKinney St. Parking is available in nearby lots or street parking may be available.

HTX BBQ is a caterer and barbecue restaurant that is run by two guys who have an obsession with everything BBQ. Their passion for cooking delicious meats is evident in every dish they serve. The restaurant has been posting mouth-watering pictures of their food on social media, and it's hard not to crave their brisket box or ribs after seeing them. They recently participated in a competition and managed to secure 2nd place for their good-looking bird. Their chicken box was also good enough for 9th place, which shows that they know how to cook poultry to perfection. HTX BBQ's brisket Philly cheesesteak is a must-try, and their patty melt is one of the best around. If you're ever in Houston, make sure to stop by HTX BBQ and indulge in some of the best barbecue around!
