BEHIND THE SCENES:

That's our new bed.
We think. 😂
It was delivered 6 weeks ago, and it's starting to look like this might be its permanent home.
We put 1,000% into this place because we care about YOU. We care about our product. We care about our service. And we care deeply about this shop and the reputation we've spent 26+ years building.
When we actually get some time off, we usually leave town so we can truly unplug for a little while.
Until then…the bed can wait.
You can't. ❤️
We're not complaining....not one bit. We just wanted to give you a little peek behind the scenes and let you know how seriously we take caring for Pizza Zone and the people who continue to support us.
And one of these days…we really ARE going to put that bed together. Thanks for your keeping us busy!

Today and tomorrow we're welcoming our friends and families from Kuehnle Elementary for their first Pizza Zone Spirit Night of the school year!
Grab the family, skip cooking dinner, enjoy some great pizza and help support your local school at the same time. And you don't have to be a Kuehnle family to participate — our whole community is invited to help them raise some dough!
The more families who join us, the more fun we have AND the more we can give back. Tonight we'll also be hosting Paul's Chess Meet-up....so order pizza and stay and play a game or two.
Come eat, laugh, visit with friends and help us make it a GREAT night for Kuehnle!

Choosing September's Pizza of the Month was a tough one!
Y'all suggested Eggplant Parmesan or Chicken Carbonara....and we were THIS CLOSE to picking one of them. But at the last minute, we remembered THIS one.
So buckle up.....Albuquerque called and they want their pizza back! .
Too bad. We're keeping it for September.
Meet our Albuquerque Turkey — Alfredo Sauce, Cheese, Turkey, Red Onions, Green Chiles, Cheddar Cheese, and finished with Parmesan sprinkled on top.
It's creamy, cheesy, loaded with flavor and just different enough to make you wonder why we haven't brought this one back sooner!
But remember...our Pizza of the Month creations don't stick around forever. You've got until September 30th to get your Albuquerque Turkey fix!

SEPTEMBER IS GOING TO BE A BUSY ONE AT PIZZA ZONE!
Just take a look at that calendar!
Between Spirit Nights, Spring Business Builders meetings, Chess Meet-Up, Parent Night and everything else happening around here, September is shaping up to be one BUSY month!
And we wouldn't have it any other way.
We love seeing our dining room filled with local schools, organizations, businesses, families and neighbors coming together.....and we'd love for YOU to be part of it.
So check out the calendar, find an event (or two!) you'd like to support, and come eat some pizza while helping us support this amazing community of ours.

August apparently wasn’t going to leave quietly without ONE MORE family birthday!
Today we’re celebrating our oldest son (and step-son), Cris!
Cris came back to the family business a few years ago and has become a huge part of keeping Pizza Zone running. He helps manage the store, makes our dough, and has earned the very important title of Mr. Fix-It — because apparently owning a restaurant means something is required to break at all times.
Help us wish the firstborn, our dough maker, our fixer of all the things, and our FINAL August birthday a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We're celebrating another very special birthday in our family today... our daughter-in-law, Shaylene!
Shaylene is truly the sparkle and sunshine in our family — and she's also our official family photographer, making sure all those special moments (and grandbaby pictures!) are captured along the way.
She's also a very important part of the Pizza Zone family behind the scenes. Shaylene handles our payroll, daily paperwork, accounts payable, and so much more. As Paul and I slowly start stepping back, she'll continue taking on an even bigger role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
But of all the hats she wears, her most important one is being an amazing mommy to our grandbabies. ❤️
We're so lucky to have her in our family AND our Pizza Zone family!

PIZZA EMERGENCY!
We just returned from a much needed vacation and September is sneaking up on us.
We're back, refreshed and ready to go... but our planned Calabrian Pepperoni creation isn't quite ready for its big debut......yet.
That leaves us with one tiny problem:
