Responsibilities Consistency and Reliability Work Quickly and Efficiently Follow Food Safety and Sanitation Procedures Maintain Proper Quality Parameters Use a recipe book for batch, process and portion prep Weigh and measure all ingredients. Set a timer when using the stoves and ovens. Maintain a clean workstation at all times. Perform special cleaning duties as specified by the manager Always use clean food storage containers Assume responsibility for freshness and quality of items prepared. Always date, label and rotate product Checks with supervisor on duty regarding condition of prep done, storage of items and cleanliness of prep area. Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager. Prepare station menu items according to recipe in a timely manner with attention to detail and quality. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 6 months proven prior experience as a cook, grill cook, fry cook, prep cook, line cook, chef, or restaurant crew member, team member or other BOH restaurant jobs High School Diploma Certified Culinary Training is a plus Health Department – Certified Minimum of six months experience working in a high-volume kitchen MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Able to stand for 10 hours Available to work 40 hours a week Able to lift 50 pounds Basic knife skills
