Update
The bar is almost done, and it’s finally starting to feel real. We’ll have 20 seats at the bar, with about 2 feet of space per chair. Electrical and plumbing are complete, our handmade chairs are scheduled to ship next week, and bar equipment is already on the way.
We’re also working on our menus and getting closer to testing drink recipes once the bar is finished.
A small sneak peek: we’re planning one draft beer, four CO₂ draft cocktails, and two nitrogen-infused cocktails, an Espresso Martini and a Carajillo. We’re also working on our own Azahar version of a tequila Old Fashioned.
Bringing Azahar to life has been a big journey, and every visit, order, recommendation, and share at Habaneros means more than ever to our family and our team.
Little by little, everything is coming together. Thank you for being part of what’s next.

WE GOT APPROVED 🚨🔥
Habaneros Tex-Mex Kitchen’s sister location just got our architectural plans officially approved by the city, one big step closer!
We’ve still got a full remodel ahead of us, but things are about to start moving… and we’re just getting started.
And for the first time, we can finally share the name:
Azahar Mexican Kitchen 🌼
“Azahar” means orange blossom, the flower of the orange tree. It represents new beginnings, life, and tradition. In many cultures, it symbolizes warmth, family, and something beautiful growing from strong roots.
For me, it’s personal. Growing up, my mom would cook for us, orange chicken made with fresh orange juice. That memory stuck with me… and now it’s part of this next chapter.
