20 years ago, Oporto began as the dream of a young man to bring a European-style food and wine bar, inspired by Portuguese culture, to the heart of Houston.
Looking back today, what started in a tiny shoebox location has grown into something far beyond what we could have ever imagined. We’ve had the absolute privilege of serving generations of guests, sharing our rich heritage, and creating countless memories around the table along the way.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible team, our families, our friends, and especially you—our guests—for being a part of this journey. We wouldn't be here without you.
