After nearly 10 unforgettable years, Riel will be closing its doors.
This decision didn’t come lightly. It followed many sleepless nights and heartfelt conversations. But we’re choosing to end this chapter on our own terms, with deep gratitude for everything this journey has given us.
Since 2017, Riel has been more than a restaurant. It’s been a gathering place for our Houston community—a spot to share pierogies, butter burgers, and caviar tots over great cocktails and even better conversation. We’ve had the honor of working with some of the most talented people in the industry, and watching them grow has been one of our greatest joys.
We’re endlessly thankful to every guest who’s walked through our doors, celebrated with us, supported us, and made Riel feel like home. You’ve been the heartbeat of this place.
Our final service will be Saturday, August 30. Until then, we invite you to join us—eat, drink, laugh, reminisce, and help us close out this incredible era at 1927 Fairview the way we opened it: with heart, soul, and a full dining room.
