TAG THE FUTURE OPERATING PARTNER OF MICO’S! 👇🏾
After three years of running Mico’s Hot Chicken while living overseas, we’ve reached a crossroads.
Mico’s was built with a lot of work, a lot of love, and an incredible amount of support from Houston. But the reality is that Chris and I have lived outside the U.S. for the past three years, and trying to operate the business from another country has taken its toll. Mico’s needs an owner-operator who can be present, lead the team, build the business locally, and give the brand the attention it deserves.
We want to see if there’s someone out there who believes they can take Mico’s forward.
We are open to giving the right person or group majority ownership in Mico’s Hot Chicken to take over the Heights location and operate the business.
This isn’t a traditional “business for sale” post. We’re looking for a serious operating partner — an experienced restaurant operator, established restaurant group, or entrepreneur with a proven ability to run and grow a business.
You would step into an established brand, an operating location, existing systems and infrastructure, and years of brand recognition. Chris and I would remain involved as minority partners, but the new majority owner would take the lead on the day-to-day business.
And if we can turn this location around together and build a successful operating model, the goal doesn’t have to stop here.
We can move on to location #2 and continue building Mico’s together.

To get to N. Durham Drive in Houston's southern region, there are two options for transportation:
Public Transport:
- Take the METRO bus to the intersection of N. Durham Drive and West 11th Street.
- Walk south for a few blocks until you reach the restaurant.
Driving/Parking:
- Head south on I-45 and take the exit for North Main Street.
- Turn left onto North Main Street and continue until you reach West 11th Street.
- Turn right onto West 11th Street, then turn left onto N. Durham Drive.
- The restaurant is located on your right-hand side. Parking is available around the restaurant.
