Tea + Victory Tea + Victory was a coffee shop, beer bar, and restaurant located in E T C Jester that opened on October 4, 2018. It was known for its impressive collection of over 600 board games and English-inspired food as well as offering tea, coffee, beer, and wine. Unfortunately, after just over four years of operations, Tea + Victory announced its permanent closure in mid-June 2022. The last event held by the restaurant was a Board Game Garage Sale where customers could purchase remaining games and enjoy tea and beer one last time.

We finally know our last day: June 15.

I'm sure that's earlier than you were hoping for; this is the date that keeps us open the longest without putting even more strain on our staff and resources.

To answer everyone's other question: YES, we are selling the games. We'll announce our final Board Game Garage Sale date, after closing. Keep your eyes peeled!

Thanks again for all the support. Your lovely messages have been heartwarming. It makes it harder, but we're so touched and love hearing stories about how much joy we've helped bring. Thank you for being the very best customers.

We have some very sad news. After just over 4 years of operations, Tea + Victory will be permanently closing in mid-June. You have all been the very best, most passionate and joyful customers, and we’re sorry to have to say goodbye.

The reasons are too many to list, but also very simple: we simply haven’t been able to survive the long-term effects of the pandemic and the economy. Our amazing staff are on to brighter things, and we’re doing our best to support them as we wind down.

Thank you so much for your support, love, and playfulness! We’ve loved serving you and teaching you our favorite games. Please stop in to say goodbye if you get a chance!
