Okay one last push before I start baking on Monday morning for your holiday table. I have enough bandwidth to produce either chocolate pecan or regular pecan tarts at $25 a piece or you may order lemon blueberry mussoline pies at $20 each and I also have one quiche Lorraine with spinach up for grabs at $20, first come, first served.
You can order by texting me at 832-526-8236 with your order and I will either deliver it to your door or you can pick it up at Decant Urban Winery located at 948 Wakefield Drive across the parking lot from Great Heights Brewing Company on Wednesday evening around 6ish if you pay ahead of time via cell at the aforementioned number above.

Good morning fellow Oakies, it's that time of year again, time to order your pies for Thanksgiving. I've narrowed it down to pecan or chocolate pecan tarts, lemon blueberry mouseline pies and if you ask nicely I'll make y'all a Quiche Loraine Masion. I'll be at the Farmstand this morning with my little black book or you can text me at 832 526 8236 and I'll put you on my list. The tarts are twenty-five bucks each and the pies or quiches are twenty. I'll start baking on Monday and home delivery in the neighbourhood is most likely or perhaps pickup at Great Heights Brewing Company around sixish depending on my schedule. I have doggies that are counting on me as well this week.
Farmer Cathy will be on hand today with free range eggs for the home bakers and sustainably grown vegetables along with canned goods.
The Farmstand is located at 949 Wakefield Drive across from Decant Urban Winery and Great Heights Brewing Company. Our hours are from around ninish until 1pm every Saturday morning, come rain or shine.

Good morning fellow Oakies! I'm coming out of semi retirement to help support this worthy cause this Saturday. The event will be from 2 until 6pm at Decant Urban Winery on Wakefield Drive. I'll be there making old fashioned ice cream shakes and serving my nearly world famous meatloaf sandwiches with chips. My little sister Sharon is bringing her handmade marshmallows in several flavours and I might have other treats as well if time allows.
So come out and adopt a pet or get a special gift or treat for the one you already have. Make your momma proud. Hope to see y'all there, Mickey.

Greetings fellow Oakies, I'm here to answer the age of question. Is it soup yet? Indeed it is, in spades. This week I have four different varieties, chicken and sausage gumbo, lamb stew, green chili stew (posole) and tomato basil. Of course I'll also be slinging breakfast tacos and omelets all morning long.
Farmer Cathy will be on hand with whatever veggies she can coax out of the ground on a sustainable farm and ranch. She'll also have free range eggs and a variety of canned goods.
I believe Austin will be there with his micro greens and handmade compost. And if I'm not (I've slept since last week, a little) Sophia will be on hand with her delicious granola mix and baked goods.

It's just about that time of year again, were I begin my list of folks that don't want to stand in line for your Thanksgiving tarts, pies and quiches.
This year I'm offering pecan or chocolate pecan tarts for $25 bucks and if you've seen the price of pecans lately that's a good value.
I'm also offering two kinds of of quiche. One with spinach, cheese and ham (quiche Loraine) and another with spinach, cheese and mushrooms (for the vegetarians). These are going for $20 bucks apiece.
The last item on the list is a lemon/blueberry mouseline pie (think grandma's icebox pie just fancier). These are going for $15 bucks.
Pre-orders only by direct message here or texting me at 823 526 8236. For you early birds that are traveling I'll be starting to bake as soon as Sunday morning the 19th of November. Thanksgiving comes early this year.

Good morning fellow Oakies. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade. The weather gods left my hanging on yesterday's pop-up. So, my loss is your gain. If you were planning a tail gating party to watch your favourite team this weekend if got a deal for you.
I'm having a fire sale on bratwurst. You get eight brats poached in Lone Star beer with onions, garlic and other spices along with eight Martin's potato rolls, a quart of my nearly world famous apple slaw and enough sauerkraut and sautéed onions and peppers to dress them up. Sorry you have to provide your own mustard. All for the low, low price of forty bucks, only five sets available. I also have two Quiche Loraine's available as well.
Farmer Cathy will be on hand at the Farmstand with free range eggs, lots of okra and an array of pickled veggies. It's just us chickens this weekend as Sophia is away visiting family.

I'm coming out of semi retirement with my first pop up of the season by cooking bratwurst for the Octoberfest celebration at Walking Stick Brewery this Friday (9/15) evening from 5 until 8pm. It should pair well with their Elbert Octoberfest beer.
I'll be offering up two beer poached brats that I'll pan sear and serve on soft potato rolls along with my nearly world famous apple slaw for twelve dollars a plate. There will be all the fixings (sautéed onions and peppers, kraut and mustard) to place on said brats should you require it.
I hope this will be the first of many as the weather begins to moderate. Hope to see y'all there, Mickey.

A special thanks to everyone who purchased desserts and quiches from me for their Holiday table this past Thanksgiving. If you missed out there's another opportunity for next week. I'll be offering pecan or chocolate pecan tarts for twenty five dollars or lemon blueberry and keylime raspberry mousoline pies for twenty along with spinach, caramelized onion and two cheese quiche for the same twenty bucks. You can add bacon to the quiche at no additional charge.
Normal pickup will be at The Farmstand of Greater Heights the Saturday of Christmas eve, however I'll be baking all week and other arrangements can be made. The market is at 949 Wakefield Drive across from Decant Urban Winery and Great Heights Brewing company every Saturday beginning at 9am until 1pm.
All items are cooked to order so you'll have to order ahead by DM or text me at 862 526 8236. Cut off is close of business Sunday December 18th.

It's that time of year again to order your Thanksgiving pies and quiche. This year I'll be offering my perfect pecan pie. Why perfect first of all it has less sugar and syrup, no gooeyness and secondly it's not a pie, but rather a tart which means its thinner and that allows the pecans to roast. It's also available in chocolate pecan as well. Both are priced at twenty five bucks each and quantities are limited.
I'm also making my quiche Lorraine Maison which basically translates to quiche Lorraine my way. This quiche includes bacon, mozzarella and provolone cheese and sauteed spinach and caramelized onions. You can go vegetarian by deleting the bacon. Both versions are twenty bucks each.
New this year are your choice of lemon blueberry or keylime raspberry mousoline pies. These go for twenty bucks as well.
Pickup time is Wednesday night November 23rd beginning at 6pm. I'll be set up in the parking lot of Decant Urban Winery. Preorders only please Direct message me here or text me at 862 526-8236.
