I’d like to follow my post from Friday about payment from Amazon contractor, Hitt Contracting Inc. Payment for services have been received. It appears that 1st time payment for new vendors takes a little longer to map out. I was in contact with the client throughout the process, however the check must be hung up with the postal service. I assumed it was sent Priority, however that does not appear to be accurate.
This was a communication error, and should not reflect the character of this company. My expectation to receive payment in less than 30 days, or receive a text response after 5pm on Friday, was unreasonable. All of the HITT team were nothing but kind and respectful to me throughout this process. Communication is key.
My apologies to the HITT team.

Update 8/24: I just had a great conversation with client, and payment has been received. It appears since we were a first time vendor, the payment process takes longer to map out. I did not intend to accuse HITT for not wanting to pay. I was just really concerned about the timeframe. The lack of communication is on me, and I should have inquired more about the process. I'd like to publicly apologize to the team at HITT.
Update 0708: I was informed by multiple folks this will be resolved Monday. I appreciate y”all attention to this matter.

Hitt Contracting Inc hired us to provide catering services 7/24. After repeated attempts to collect payment, I’m still trying to collect. This is the contractor building the Amazon Data Center in Boling. You guys be cautious.
