Going vertical! Trying to get it done before all this rain comes!
05/08/2026
This is a very special moment for my family, and I’m grateful to share it with all of you.
Today, we’re here to break ground on a new building.
But for me, this moment is about something much deeper than construction.
It’s about where we came from… and everything it took to get here.
My parents (Chan & Kim) came to this country from Cambodia in the early 90s.
They didn’t come here with comfort or security.
They came here with survival, responsibility, and hope.
When they came to the United States, they didn’t have much.
But they had something more important—resilience.
They found their way into the donut business.
Not because it was glamorous, but because it was an opportunity.
Long nights. Early mornings. Years of sacrifice.
Growing up, I remember watching them work when most people were still asleep.
I remember the consistency—the discipline—the quiet determination to keep going, no matter what.
There were no shortcuts.
No easy paths.
Just work… every single day.
And over time, that work turned into something real.
They didn’t just build a business.
They built stability.
They made decisions that allowed our family to not just operate, but to own—to own the land, to think long-term, and to create something that could last.
That foundation is the reason we are standing here today.
This project is not just a building.
It’s a continuation of their story.
It’s taking everything they went through—the loss, the responsibility, the sacrifice—and turning it into something that creates opportunity for the next generation.
To my parents—
There aren’t enough words to thank you.
For everything you carried.
For everything you gave up.
For everything you built without ever asking for recognition.
To our partners (.us & ) our team, and our community—thank you for believing in us and standing with us on this journey.
And to everyone here—
This is just the beginning.
We’re proud to build something that honors our past, represents our culture, and creates something meaningful for the future.

Weekly Progress! This week we had heavy rain last Friday! .us stayed all weekend and had an army of people drain the property, prep all the underground for testing, prep for concrete today (Monday). Underground plumbing test passed with flying colors! Prep-pour test approved! These past few months have been rough but we are at the muddy finish line. Thank you .us for all your hard work! We are about to start going vertical soon!

This project has been a long time coming. What started as a simple idea has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined.
From the early days of planning and budgeting, to countless hours spent designing, engineering, and researching every detail—this journey has required patience, persistence, and a lot of belief. We worked through funding, evaluated bids, selected the right builders, collaborated with kitchen equipment designers, and partnered closely with our local community leaders to navigate the permitting process and bring this vision to life.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible people who stood alongside us.
We are deeply grateful to Ferenc for bringing our vision to life through thoughtful design, to Mint Bank for believing in us and providing the financial support to make this project a reality, and to Bazcon for building this project from the ground up with professionalism and care.
What began as a small mom-and-pop dream has now become a fully realized, ground-up development. This project represents more than just a building—it reflects years of hard work, strong partnerships, and the support of a community that believed in us.
To everyone who played a part in making this happen—thank you. We couldn’t have done it without you.

We are not longer using UberEATS as a partner! Please place all your online delivery orders on DOORDASH, GRUBHUB, or 7NOW!! Ubereats doesn’t treat us as an equal partner and they have caused more problems than they give solutions.
