I was the owner of " Studio Blend Gallery & Coffee Shop" on Fowlkes St. For 2 1/2 years befor Covid hit. I had had no other choice but to close and Sell. No one wanted to work on Sat and Evenings. I tried to get other businesses interested in "Sharing Space and Customers". I considered Ice-cream too. The good News is- The New Owners have been Adding a "Full Kitchen" into my old Art Studio. They have over 25 Years Restaurant Experiance ! They Hope to Open befor the end of this Summer! Please Show them Local Support and Share....Beyond so Other Local Towns and Katy Customers can come see this beautiful building WE Restored for "Sealy History for Sealy Residents!" That was not enough.... Sealy Needs more Out to Eat Options. My old building is Art Deco. My husband added the Arched the Celing and added Plaster Curved Light Pockets and Chandelieers. We went to great Time and expence to keep the old cabinets and a bought the old Brass Wine Rack from SFA that came from the Old Sealy Creamery. We were looking into leasing inthe evenings as a Wide Bar and light food options. The New Owners have made some changes inside. I have seen them but they kept the original Red and Chroam Barstools WE Restored from, ( The Old City Cafe/ Jacks Cafe) . We Restored the Only Original Neon Sign in downtown Sealy. We offered to give it to the City of Sealy to " Grand Father In" since it is attached to the City Sidewalk from the early 1920's. The City told me - they were not interested and They did not Care to Honor its Historical Value to Preserve Sealy History. They said I could take it down and keep it. I chose not to. It is a Gift to Sealy. I Wish the New Owners a Sucessful Restaurant Business! They also will offer Home Made Pie and Homade Icecream and a Full Menue!!! 🤩Best Wishes For Sucess! ( I am not sure of the name yet?)

This came up on my Memories today- This Still Amazes Me! My Family and I Did this for Sealy. We SAVED Part of Sealys History! "STUDIO BLEND GALLERY & COFFEE SHOP" Befor & After FULL Renovation PLUS! Believe -It- Or-Not! Same Room! Built in 1920's-- Unoccupiable in 2017 to GRAND RE- Opening in 2018 ! Best Wishes For New Owners who are Investing in A NEW Kitchen! It Will Re-Open This Year as A Full Restaurant and Bar! ( 203 Fowlkes St)

Good News! The New Owner, " Lucia" has her Arcetect Working on the New FULL Kitchen Design for her Restaurant/Bar and Bakery and Fancy Coffee Shop! She WILL Be Open in 2022! Happy New Year❣
