This incredible award celebrates her work towards business growth, leadership, resilience, and the impact made inside and outside the doors of Dandelion Cafe, as well as the amazing contributions of Small Businesses to the Houston Economy.
From day one, Sarah has emphasized care and commitment in every layer of the business, from nourishing a positive and supported staff, to the care and quality of the products served and guest experience, to listening to her community.
Before opening her doors in 2016, Sarah received guidance from the SBA’s SCORE program, which is dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow, and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.
Sarah credits much of her success to the guidance of the SCORE mentors who have guided her along the way, and the ongoing support of the team and community that surrounds her.
