Texas Q was a popular barbecue restaurant and food truck located on W. Lake Houston Pkwy that offered customers a unique experience of covered seating, live music, and lawn games. The family-owned business served Texas craft BBQ and southern scratch-made sides to its customers. They were well-known for their mouthwatering prime brisket, pork butt, ribs, truffle macaroni and cheese, corn pudding, loaded potato salad, candied baked beans, and blackberry or peach cobbler. However, in February of 2023, the restaurant announced that they would be relocating to Atascocita Golf Club because of the owner's hip replacement surgery. Unfortunately, it was later announced that the restaurant had permanently closed its doors without specifying any reasons why.

To get to the restaurant and food truck located on W. Lake Houston Pkwy in Houston, there are a couple of options for transportation.
By Public Transport:
Take Metro Bus 257 towards Kingwood P&R from Downtown Transit Center and get off at W Lake Houston Parkway opp The Valegrand Circle Station. Then walk east on W Lake Houston Pkwy for about 5 minutes until you see the restaurant and food truck.
By Car:
From downtown Houston, take I-69 North towards Humble. Take Exit 143B towards FM 1960 E/Huffman/Crosby. Merge onto Eastex Freeway Service Rd and continue straight onto FM 1960 Bypass Rd E. Turn right onto W Lake Houston Pkwy, drive south for about a mile and you will see the restaurant and food truck on your right-hand side.
Parking:
There is ample free parking available in the restaurants' own parking lot.
