Villa Italian Kitchen, an Italian restaurant and pizza place, was a popular dining destination located on Gulf Freeway in Texas City, TX. Founded in 1964 by Michele "Michael" Scotto, the restaurant prided itself on using quality ingredients such as homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce for all its authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy. With nearly 300 locations across the country under the leadership of Michele’s two sons Biagio "Ben" Scotto and Anthony Scotto, Villa Italian Kitchen celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014. Sadly, this establishment has been permanently closed.
