‼️Update on Theft Video

On Friday, October 2, the young man seen on video taking our tip jar walked back into Wild West BBQ, looked our team in the eye, and apologized.
He returned the money he took, plus three times more.
That took real courage. Showing up in person to own a mistake and make it right is not easy, and our staff met him with kindness and encouragement.
We believe in second chances when there's genuine remorse, and this was exactly that. As far as we're concerned, the matter is settled. Before this young man left the owner returned the extra money this young man had given. He didn't want to take it but the owner insisted.
Thank you to everyone who shared, commented, and looked out for our team. We're grateful for this community, and we hope this is a reminder that doing the right thing is always possible.

‼️AS OF OCTOBER 3, THERE HAS BEEN AN UPDATE ON THIS POST ‼️
We want to share a video of a theft that happened at our restaurant on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
A grown man spent several minutes at our counter asking about our BBQ, using that time to distract our young employees while he quietly stole our tip box.
That box isn’t just spare change — it’s money our loyal, kind customers generously leave for our hardworking staff, most of them high school students who count on that extra bit at the end of the month. Instead, a grown adult chose to deceive and steal from teenagers just trying to earn an honest wage.
We’re asking for help getting this seen so he does the right thing and returns what he took from these kids.
