Just 5 days left to come see us at Picos on Kirby. ❤️

For 42 years, you’ve made Picos part of your stories. Now, during our final week at Kirby, we want to hear them.

Maybe it was your first date at Picos. A birthday, graduation, anniversary, or family tradition. Maybe you have a photo from our original Bellaire location tucked away somewhere—or maybe it’s simply the dish you’ve ordered every single time you’ve walked through our doors.

We want to see it all.

Share your favorite Picos photos and stories, tell us the dish you’ll always remember, or leave your favorite memory in the comments. Tag us in your posts and stories so we can see and share them throughout our final week.

We’ve spent 42 years making memories around these tables. Before we close our Kirby doors on Sunday, August 30, we want to celebrate yours. ❤️

What a way to close out our Farewell Tequila Dinner Series. 🥃

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our third and final dinner with Herradura Tequila. These dinners became about so much more than six courses and great tequila—they gave us the chance to sit together, share stories, revisit memories, and celebrate 42 years of Picos with the people who have been part of it.

And now, we’ve officially reached our final week at Kirby.

Our doors close this Sunday, August 30, but until then, the kitchen is cooking, the shakers are shaking, and we’re ready to make this last week one to remember.

Come back for your favorite dish, order the margarita you always get, bring the people you’ve shared Picos with over the years, and join us for one more meal at Kirby.

One final week. Let’s make it a good one, Houston. ❤️

Some dishes don’t need an introduction—they’ve simply been part of the Picos table for generations.

From Chile Relleno and Torta Cubana to Flautas, Milanesa de Res, and Enchiladas, these are the comforting Mexican classics that have shared our menu alongside the regional specialties Picos has been known for since 1984.

For more than 42 years, we’ve watched generations of families return to the same favorites, while others have discovered something new with every visit.

As we continue our walk through Picos history, we’re celebrating the dishes that have filled our tables and become part of so many memories along the way.

Before August 30, come back for the one you always order—or finally try the one you never have.

🔥 National Fajita Day is finally here!

We've been firing up the grill for Houston for more than four decades. When Chef Arnaldo Richards opened his first Houston restaurant in 1981, what we know today as fajitas were on the menu as “Aracheras.” Three years later, Picos opened its doors, continuing to introduce Houstonians to the flavors and traditions of regional Mexican cuisine.

More than 42 years later, we're still serving them hot off the grill.

Celebrate National Fajita Day with us today and enjoy special pricing on our fajitas all day long. Add a Picos shaker margarita and raise a glass to decades of fajitas, family, and memories around the table.
