Bernie's Burger Bus was a popular scratchmade burger joint located on Bellaire Boulevard that specialized in burgers, fries, and shakes. The restaurant offered American fast food fare with its chef and creator, Chef Justin Turner, at the helm. Bernie's Burger Bus gained a loyal following during its ten years of operation in Houston which extended to locations in Katy and the Heights. However, in 2021, Chef Turner announced that he would be moving on after a decade of serving some of the city's best burgers. Despite an outpouring of love from fans when they announced their closing in May 2020, the restaurant permanently closed sometime later that year.
