This one’s built around blue lotus flower, an ingredient associated with vivid dreams and deep calm.
The gist: lemon lavender chamomile custard layered with blueberry curd, sandwiched between buttery lemon shortbread cookies. Then dipped in white chocolate and finished with natural iridescent shimmer + dried blue lotus flower.

This one was dreamed up by Honeychild’s own , starting with Cavazos’ dried rose petals and building outward from there.
The gist: a sweet cream base steeped with rose petals and fresh lime, finished with cardamom and layered with barrel-aged tequila caramel.

Big news — we teamed up with on a series of flavors we’re really excited about.
Each one is inspired by Cavazos’ offerings: rooted in nature, wellness, and traditional ingredients. There’s a lot to unpack, so we’re giving each flavor its own post.
First up: Mole Caramel.
The gist: an almond butter + avocado leaf base layered with toasted almonds and Mole Almendrado made into caramel.
Mole is one of those endlessly fascinating foods. We had a lot of fun exploring what those flavors could become in ice cream.
We only made one batch of each flavor so - stop by soon and grab a scoop!

Asked and answered: it’s back. Blueberry Lemon Thyme.
The gist: Blueberry ice cream made with berries from North Houston, layered with ribbons of lemon curd and finished with a buttery thyme corn crumble.
A callback to ’s time at Honeychild’s — one of those flavors we just couldn’t let go of. Get some while it lasts!

Playing around with citrus and landed on something new - Sour Orange Sesame
The gist: sour orange base with soursop curd, marshmallow fluff, and black sesame seeds.
Somehow reads like passion fruit. We didn’t plan that but we love it.

To get to the ice cream shop and parlor at N Shepherd in Houston, you can take the METRO bus route number 27 and disembark at the White Oak Drive stop. From there, it's just a short walk of about four minutes to reach your destination.
If driving, take the N Shepherd exit from I-10 and head north for about two miles. You will find the ice cream shop on your right-hand side. Parking is available on the street as well as in nearby parking lots for a fee.
