After everything my dad has been through, it feels like he has finally made it to the finish line. The MRSA is gone, his antibiotics are finished, and we are so grateful to be here. There were days when this moment felt so far away.
Now he’s about to take one final step: surgery to repair the foot where the infection began. We’re excited and hopeful, and we know how much this means to him and to all of us who love him.
Please keep my dad in your prayers for a successful surgery and a smooth recovery. We’re so ready to see him heal and put this chapter behind him. ❤️

I wanted to share a personal update with all of you who have been holding me in your prayers. This past month has been the hardest fight of my life. I’ve been in the hospital battling a severe MRSA infection that had moved into my bloodstream and was attacking my transplanted kidney.
There were moments where it felt overwhelming, but by the grace of God and the strength I felt from your prayers, we were able to save the kidney and start winning the battle against the infection. I am finally back home, which feels like a miracle in itself. I have 8 more days of antibiotics to finish here, and then I’ll be heading back in for a second surgery on my foot, where this whole ordeal started.
I don’t have the words to fully express my gratitude. Your prayers and support have been a lifeline for me, and I know they played a huge part in my recovery so far. Thank you for standing by me—I’m taking it one day at a time, and I’m so thankful to be heading in the right direction."

An Update on Riaz ❤️
We finally have some good news to share. After everything Riaz has been through, we are thankful to say that although his kidney was damaged by the infection, the doctors believe it is going to be okay. 🙏
The doctors are still working to correct the damage the infection caused to his other organs, but thankfully, things are looking up and we are staying hopeful.
We cannot thank our customers, friends, and community enough for your continued support, patience, and prayers. Your kindness and prayers have meant more to our family than we can put into words.
Please continue to keep Riaz in your prayers as he continues to fight and recover in the hospital. ❤️🙏 We truly appreciate every prayer, message, and bit of support.

A Little Update ❤️
We wanted to give our customers a quick update on Riaz. He is still in the hospital, and the doctors are continuing to run tests and work to figure out what is going on with his kidney function and infection.
We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as our hours have been a little different while our family navigates this. We are planning to continue keeping the restaurant open during our normal business hours moving forward.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support, patience, kind messages, and prayers. They mean more to our family than you know. Please continue to keep Riaz in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️🙏
We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you at the restaurant.

Thank you to all of our amazing customers, friends, and family for your continued love and support.
Many of you may notice that I won't be at the restaurant for a little while. I wanted to let you know that I am currently in the hospital receiving treatment for a serious antibiotic-resistant blood infection. It has been a difficult journey, but I am in good hands and staying positive as I focus on my recovery.
I kindly ask for your prayers, positive thoughts, and well wishes during this time. Your support means more to me and my family than words can express.
The restaurant will continue operating, and my family and team will be doing their best to serve you while I recover. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. I look forward to seeing all of you again as soon as I'm healthy enough to return.
-Riaz
