Congrats to the San Antonio Spurs for clinching the playoffs and second best record in the NBA! Makes it all the sweeter to get back to the promised land after missing out the past 6 years.
Been riding with the Spurs since 1998 when we moved from Seattle to Austin to open Clay Pit! ๐ค๐ค Anyone else remember the limited view seats in the upper level of the Alamodome, watching the Admiral, Timmy, Sean Elliott & company beat the Knicks for their first NBA title in 1999? Who knew then that would be the start of their legendary run, making so many amazing memories over the past three decades! ๐๐ฅ
There were some heartbreaks along the way - I still see Ray Allen in my nightmares - but that only makes you appreciate the wins and the journey even more! Can't wait to cheer on this special young group in the playoffs for many years to come!
