To get to the bar and grill or burger restaurant located on White Oak Drive in Houston, here are some travel directions.
Public transport:
- If you are coming from downtown Houston, take the METRORail Red Line heading towards Northline. Get off at Cavalcade Station and transfer to Bus Route 44 heading towards Heights. Get off at Studewood Street/Montrose Boulevard stop.
- Alternatively, take Bus Route 27 heading towards T.C. Jester/North Loop. Get off at Bayland Avenue/Walnut Street stop.
Driving/parking:
- If you are coming from downtown Houston, head north on I-45 N and take exit 49B toward N Main St/Houston Ave. Merge onto N Fwy Service Rd and turn left onto Houston Ave. Turn right onto White Oak Dr and continue driving for approximately 1 mile.
- Look for available parking spots along the street or try parking in the lot adjacent to the restaurant if available.
Please note that these directions are not specific to Christian's Tailgate Bar and Grill and may lead you to a different establishment on White Oak Drive.

The Houston Chronicle dubbed Christian's Tailgate as "Hamburger Heaven," and it's easy to see why. Their burgers are simply amazing! They have been voted Reader’s Choice "Best Burger in Houston" in both 2004 and 2005. You can't leave without trying one of their delicious burgers.
The Heights location is the biggest with a whopping 7000 square feet of space. It has two large areas each with its own bar, including a 3000 square foot covered patio with open garage doors, plenty of seating, and tons of TVs. The indoor space includes arcades, karaoke stage, an abundance of TVs, and seating. This location carries over 50 local draft beers, arcade games, and plenty of TVs.
The menu at Christian's Tailgate Bar and Grill offers something for everyone - from hamburgers to tacos to chicken-fried steak to salads to appetizers like potato skins and oysters on the half shell. And let's not forget about the fried Oreos! Happy Hour specials are available every day of the week along with $3 shots every day.
If you're looking for some fun activities during your visit, this location has $1 tacos on Tuesdays, steak night on Wednesdays, .50 oysters on Fridays, and some of the best karaoke in the city held at this venue every week.
