Early mornings, beautiful sunrises & a brand-new market for Avila. ☀️
We’re on the road bright and early this morning, and today we’re especially excited because we’re heading somewhere NEW!
If you’re familiar with the Rice Village and Heights Mercantile Farmers Markets, you know Sundays usually alternate between the two. But every once in a while, the calendar gives us a 5th Sunday… and now we have somewhere new to spend it!
Today, we’re joining the Bering’s Farmers Market, a special 5th Sunday market by The Feel Good Group The Feel Good Group & The Informal Grub Casey Barbles, MS
And of course, Avila is bringing something special. We’ll be cooking PAELLA LIVE at the market today! 🥘 Come watch the process, enjoy the aromas, ask us questions, and grab a serving fresh from the paella pan.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes preparing for a very special event — a Paella Cooking Class for 120 guests right here in Tomball!
Everything is prepped, packed, and ready to go… and we cannot wait to bring the full Avila experience to tonight’s event.

Back to school, with a little sweetness from Abuelita. 🍪✏️
If you’ve visited Avila, you may already know our Polvorones — lovingly known as “Abuelita’s Cookies.”
They come from a recipe my grandmother has been making for our family for generations. Today, we have the privilege of continuing that tradition at Avila — and the best part is that Abuelita still joins us in the kitchen to make them. ❤️

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your business is step away for a few days ☀️
We took a short break to recharge, spend time with family, and come back inspired.
Yesterday, so many of you stopped by and said, “We’re so glad you’re back,” and “You deserved the break.” Those words meant more than you know.
Thank you for supporting our café and for making Avila such a special place. We truly missed seeing you, and we’re so happy to be back doing what we love.
