Dish Society Dish Society is a farm-to-table restaurant serving American, New American and Southern cuisine in Houston. Created by first-time restaurateur Aaron Lyons, the "flex-casual" eatery offers counter service for breakfast, lunch and brunch, and table service during social hour and dinner. The menu is seasonally changing with healthful twists on traditional favorites while using the freshest local ingredients. Dish Society also features a robust coffee program, fresh-pressed juices, craft beers, an approachable wine list served in a modern industrial atmosphere and a craft cocktail program at their Katy and Memorial locations. With three venues already operating successfully in Houston area, the fourth location is under construction with plans to open in 2018.

Dish Society Guests,

We take the safety of our team and guests very seriously. As of today, June 16, we learned that three team members at our Memorial Green location (12525 Memorial Dr.) tested positive for COVID-19 after participating in social activities together outside of work. The last shift any of these team members worked was Friday, June 12. They passed all of our screening questions and temperature checks on that shift and previous shifts over the course of the previous week.

These team members worked only at Dish Society’s Memorial Green location and followed all proper safety protocols while working their shift, including washing hands, changing gloves every 20 minutes and wearing a mask at all times, as well as all of our other safety measures.

Additionally, our stores and patios are completely disinfected and sanitized with an anti-viral solution each night after close as well as throughout the shift. We’ve had UV lights in all of our HVAC systems for the last four weeks and have taken numerous other precautions that can be referenced on the COVID-19 section of our website (https://www.dishsociety.com/covid-19/).

All store employees at Memorial Green have been notified and are required to get tested and self-quarantine. The store is closed for the duration of today, June 16, for sanitation. Until we receive negative test results for each team member, they will not be allowed to return to work and will be placed on paid sick leave, receiving 100% of their eligible pay.

Until Memorial team members are allowed to return to work, we will staff that location with team members from our other locations and will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17, to operate curbside and delivery only from 11a – 9p.

Our team’s and our guests’ safety continue to be our top priority. We will continue to follow the guidance of the Texas Restaurant Association and CDC on this matter. We feel confident in the precautionary measures taken and look forward to serving you in a more traditional capacity soon. We appreciate your support.

Public Transport:
1. Take any metro bus or train to the Memorial Park station.
2. From there, take a 10-15 minute walk towards the west along Memorial Drive until you reach your destination.

Driving/Parking:
1. Take I-10 West and exit onto Washington Ave.
2. Take a left onto Studemont St and then another left onto Memorial Dr.
3. Stay on Memorial Dr for about 5 miles until you reach your destination.
4. There is parking available nearby, but it may be limited.
