For the past few Mays, I got to introduce and incorporate Asian flavors I grew up with in a AAPI seasonal flavor. This year I leaned on a treat I always ate as a kid and I now buy for my kids. I’ve always, and still do, love going into Asian bakeries and picking out all the perfectly sweet pastries. Egg tart is *the* quintessential Asian pastry. A creamy custard set inside a buttery tart crust. Found in every Asian bakery, made slightly differently, but always craveable. So naturally, I had to make it into our newest ice cream flavor.

“Egg tart” is a creamy vanilla egg-forward custard ice cream with house-made pieces of buttery tart crust tossed in. A taste that immediately puts you into a specific place or time. If you’re familiar with these treats, it’s a must try. If it’s new to you, come sample a taste of my childhood. Limited batches at each location starting today.

That feeling when you were a kid playing outside and you hear the ice cream truck jingle. You grab money from mom and jump in line. You pick your favorite bar and life is good.

My favorite was always the strawberry shortcake bar with its pink and white crumbles and sweet strawberry interior. So, I grew up and made a much better version of it. Made with a punchy swirl of real strawberries and our version of the iconic crumble. I do it every year for Mother’s Day because what better way to treat her right back with this nostalgic flavor.

Our carrot cake is now “last chance”! That means we’re on the last few containers of it so if you wanted to try it or need to squeeze in one more scoop…now’s the time to do it! This was my first year doing it and a lot of you guys l o v e d it! I was pleasantly surprised and it will definitely come back next April. So if you can’t wait that long, get in this week and don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Pro tip: we always update our menus in store to let you know which seasonal flavor(s) are on the “last chance” list. We like to run our seasonal flavors 4-6 weeks.

Because we can only carry 16 flavors in store. Having 3 spaces reserved for seasonal flavors pushes me to keep coming up with new flavors and give the chance for past ones to return.

If you’ve ever had a “whopper” or “malteser”, we brought back our seasonal scoop recreating the classic duo of flavors. Malted chocolate and shortbread cookies marry and get rolled into a scoop in our “cookie malt” and it’s ready to scoop starting today!

The buttery bits of cookies and the almost-nutty, creamy chocolate ice cream is the match you never knew you needed. Reminiscent of the classic movie theater candy but made better in ice cream form. Pints and scoops available for a limited time.

Our newest seasonal is what dreams are made of …
smooth, simple, indulgent yet light …. our “basque cheesecake” is back, baby.

If you’re familiar with the “burnt” crustless version of one of the richest and best desserts of all time, you know making an ice cream flavor from it just makes sense.

Here for April and some of may (basically until I’ve gotten my fill of making and eating it) in scoops and pints at all locations starting today.

PS - if you missed out on the limited batch of carrot cake last week, it’s restocked at all shops and bonus: we’ll get some pints made that will be stocked on 4/13.

Why did it take me 7 years to execute a seasonal carrot cake ice cream for Easter?? I would blame my dread of all the carrots that had to be grated….

So without further ado, our brand new seasonal flavor: carrot cake. And *just in time* for the Easter bunny. Pieces of perfectly spiced carrot cake made with real carrots get enveloped in a vanilla and cream cheese ice cream. It’s carrot cake in a scoop.

Kicking myself for not doing this earlier but it was definitely worth the wait. We’re making a super limited batch and “carrot cake” is only available in scoops starting today at all locations. Hop, don’t walk - it’ll be gone before you know it.

We have a big announcement: all ube lovers can celebrate as we’ve decided to make this one our permanent dairy-free flavor!

So many of you guys would come in looking for it, most of you not even aware it was dairy-free! After years of rotating our df flavor every few months, we decided to keep our most popular flavor THE dairy-free option. Don’t worry if you fell in love with any of our other df flavors, you’ll still see them as a seasonal flavor. And if you haven’t had it, come see our take on this traditional Filipino dessert ingredient. Made with our coconut based ice cream and gluten-free, you’ll see why it’s our most popular allergen-friendly flavor.

Banana pudding is back! If you’re from the south, you know it’s hard to improve on this dessert. Our take is adding a level of toasty-ness to balance out the sweet bananas. Just for the month of March, “a perfect matcha” is back. Matcha ice cream with white chocolate flakes is the combination you didn’t know you needed. No promises it’ll ward away pinches, but we’re pretty confident it’ll make a happy belly. Here for a good time, not a long time.

We’ve collaborated again with our friend, Moe from our neighbor (and now dessert-focused ) for our Ramadan seasonal flavor: á la Moe

We take Moe’s baklava made with an orange blossom syrup and toss it into our Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream. Perfectly sweet, balanced with addicting bits of filo dough, walnuts and pistachios. Scoops AND pints (!) available starting today but fair warning: it goes quick. Come get your fix before Ramadan is over!

Our first ever seasonal flavor makes her return every February, making Valentine’s Day extra sweet. “Strawberry covered chocolate” is the inverse of one of my personal favorite treats, and the perfect re-imagined bite.

Real strawberries make up the refreshing, perfect-amount-of-sweetness base with semi-sweet chocolate flakes throughout the entire scoop for an addicting complement and texture. Fruity and chocolatey. Light and indulgent.

Ever since her debut, its been a challenge to keep “XOXO” in stock. Week after week, we’d sell out in scoops and pints. One taste - and you’ll see why. House-made chunks of red velvet gooey buttercake gets enrobed in a white chocolate ice cream. If you’re unfamiliar with St. Louis style gooey buttercake, you’ve been missing out. Traditionally made with box cake and topped with a cheesecake-like layer - they’re sweet, chewy and absolutely a d d i c t i n g. Not only is she a looker, XOXO tastes just as good.

This year, I’m rising to the challenge and making MORE. No promises we’ll make it through each weekend though. So fair warning: don’t sleep on it!

This is our version of dairy-free ice cream: smooth, creamy and decadent. We’re running our “death by chocolate” which is a coconut cream based chocolate ice cream with house-made moist (vegan) chocolate cake. I discovered this cake recipe for my egg and dairy allergic kiddo and haven’t stopped making it since. One taste and you’ll never guess this whole scoop is dairy-free and vegan. We dare you to try.

Our brand new flavor is here to get you through the “longest” month of the year …

“January blues” is a Biscoff cookie butter ice cream with house-made chocolate cake. AKA the perfect duo to fight the post-holiday, temporary feeling of sadness and low energy. Just enough reminiscent flavor of the holiday spices and indulgent chocolate cake to get you through the transition of Christmas and well, the rest of January. Limited pints and scoops are available starting today until the end of the month(ish). With this new seasonal flavor, the post-holiday blues won’t seem so bad.

Happy new year AND it’s our birth-month! As always, we celebrate with ice cream. If you’re familiar with our style, we love baking fun “mixins” to toss into a freshly churned complementary ice cream base. This seasonal flavor is the perfect example.

Nothing says birthday like Funfetti and frosting. In our case, a buttercream frosting ice cream surrounds chunks of freshly baked Funfetti cake. We’re celebrating our anniversary the only way we know how. Only here for January, snag a scoop of our “birthday cake” while it’s in stock!
