This photo is deceiving 🤨
These two cakes (though one is short and one is tall) appear to be the same size in diameter, right? That's where you would be wrong, my friend!
The main cake is an 8" cake, while the short smash cake is only 6". Even as a seasoned professional, it can be hard to tell sizes just from a photo. That's why number of servings is just one factor used to determine the overall cost of a cake, and why the cake I make may look a little different from the inspiration photo provided at the time of the quote.
