Our team is taking a much needed break so we will be closed for New Year’s Eve and New Year’a Day.
If you’re looking somewhere chill to hang, our sister bar, , will be OPEN on New Year’s Eve if you’re down for bubbles, food, and a lil music. No reservations or cover!
Otherwise, we’ll see y’all again in 2026 on Friday for the usual caffeine and cocktails!

We’re gonna be OPEN as usual on Christmas Eve this Wednesday from 3pm-midnight, and we’ll be CLOSED on Thursday for Christmas Day. We love our DT guests so come pay us a visit before and after 12/25!!!

With unbelievable grief and regret, we share the loss of our beloved Troublemaker, Nolan Currier –the gentlest giant, strong defender, talented handyman, absurd comedian and most loyal, reliable friend. Nolan, you are missed so much by so many.
To Nolan, thank you for all you have given to our family at Double Trouble and to the whole community within and around The Block. I hope you know how much we love you and appreciate your tremendous influence in our lives. Rest in peace 🫶

Every Friday through Sunday, our doors open a little earlier in case you wanna count the caffeinated side of our bar. All of our bartenders are barista-trained, so come as early as 11am to get your lattes and iced coffees. Get a little work done or dig into that 12-book series in any of our spaces, including our covered patio, especially with some of this ultra pleasant not-burning-in-Houston-hell kinda weather while we can hold onto it!

Tonight is officially ’s First Thursday Block Party for the month of October! Craft and Cocktails with will be led by our very own who is hosting a weaving workshop here under our roof. Stop by for some crafts, cocktails, and drink specials in our patio where we provide all the supplies. All you gotta do is show up once you pick up your all access wristband (details below) and we’ll make sure you get situated with some proper things to sip on while you get to crafting!
This month, proceeds benefit , a Texas non-profit working to create life-changing, barrier-free camping experiences for children and adults with special needs through passionate staff, innovative programs, and fully adaptive facilities. Every aspect of the camp—from wide sidewalks and accessible pools to adaptive horseback riding and inclusive cabins—is designed to “level the playing field,” making it the only recreational facility of its kind.
