Before opening our coffee shop, I was testing drink recipes. I made my wife a coffee, and she tried it before her meeting. Turns out, I forgot to add water! She was so wired afterward, and we learned you can't taste the strength straight up, but you'll definitely feel it.

Using soft water for your coffee? You might be ruining your brew. Soft water strips minerals, making it overly aggressive in extraction. It can pull out metals from your machine and extract undesirable flavors from the coffee itself. Stick to bottled spring water or filtered water.
