Focused on hurricane readiness, emergency response planning, and family safety, the event welcomed hundreds of local residents and families from The Woodlands and surrounding areas, as well as many community partners.

This important community event focused on hurricane preparedness, emergency planning, and family safety, drawing hundreds of residents and families.

As a longtime member of The Woodlands community, Black Walnut provided complimentary breakfast catering for event exhibitors and agency participants, fueling the morning with fresh, chef-crafted favorites. Attendees received free kids’ gelato, which quickly became a crowd favorite on a warm spring day.

For public transport, take the bus or train to The Woodlands Mall, then transfer to Bus 059 towards New Trails Park and Ride. Get off at the first stop and walk eastwards for about 2 minutes.

For driving and parking, take the Woodlands Parkway exit from I-45 North and head west. Turn left onto New Trails Drive and continue straight for about a mile. Look for the restaurant on your right-hand side. There is ample parking available in the area.
