This past weekend we went up to New Caney Tx and competed in hold’em & hit’em bbq cook off. There was 80 plus teams one of the biggest we done and we came home with some hardware

1st place in Anything bacon category
8th place in ribs
And BIG CONGRATS to our lil cool arrow with
2nd place in jr chef choice category
5th place in pork chop category

Yesterday the cool arrows competed in needville tx and we heard our walk up song 4 times:
2nd 🥈 cooks choice
2nd 🥈 in mystery meat category
2nd 🥈 in chicken

What's up Cool Arrows Fam,
Our team has lost one of our very own, Tweety this past weekend. We will be hosting a BBQ plate sale benefit next Saturday May 3rd to help cover all funeral expenses. Please see flyer below

We are still in need of donations in order to make this benefit a success. If you find it in your heart to provide a donation, please contact Tony Armendariz or ChulaEric AP and Jerry Armendariz via Messenger. This benefit is going towards assisting the Rodriguez family to cover all funeral expenses to help lay our loved Tweety to rest.
I will begin picking up donations at the beginning of next week as I need to turn them in specifically the meat next Wednesday evening. Any sides donated will need to be dropped off at the benefit location by 11:00am.

Donations Needed:
Briskets, Pork Butts, Chicken Leg Quarters, Sausage

Sides: Trays of Potato Salad, Rice and Large cans of Beans.

Anything and everything helps in this unexpected time of need.

From the bottom of my heart and the Rodriguez family, thank you and God bless everyone.
